Role within FCT ERC

The G&C Division provides professional counselling resources, policy support and interventions across public and private schools in the FCT. Qualified counselling professionals coordinate school guidance services, psychological materials, training, clinic support and programmes addressing students' educational, emotional, vocational and personal needs.

Branch / unit

Clinic Branch

Runs counselling and referral services, including family and marital counselling, emotional support, disability and school-dropout counselling, follow-up, mental-health talks and basic wellness checks.

Branch / unit

Secondary Schools Branch

Coordinates psychological-test materials and cumulative records, counsellor refresher training and development or review of Guidance & Counselling schemes of work for FCT schools.

Coordinates school guidance activities, psychological materials, cumulative records, counsellor training, monitoring and schemes of work for junior-secondary and primary schools.
