Welcome to the Community Services and Entrepreneurship Division (CSED).

CSED is dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through inclusive social services, skills development, and enterprise support. The Division promotes self-reliance by providing training, mentoring, and access to resources that encourage entrepreneurship, job creation, and sustainable livelihoods.

In addition, CSED supports community development initiatives that improve the social well-being, economic participation, and overall quality of life. The division aims to promote learning among the community members as a tool for socio-economic advancement, for national development, and for social integration. Ultimately, CSED is committed to eradicating ignorance and poverty by mobilizing community members for wealth creation, income, and employment generation for national prosperity.

The Community Services and Entrepreneurship Division operates through the following branches:

The sections under this branch are 

  • Vocational and Skills Acquisition Section: which is further divided into the following units: 
  • Catering
  • Cookery
  • Pastry
  • Bread making
  • Insecticide
  • Garment making
  • Cosmetics
  • Home Economics
  • Decoration and related crafts

These programmes run throughout the year (January–December).

  • Business Ventures/Training Section: The units under this section include
  1. Fish farming
  2. Snail farming
  3. Poultry
  4. Animal Husbandry
  5. Table water
  6. Music studio
  7. Music Concert
  8. Product Exhibition
  9. Production of distilled water for a science experiment
